Scaled-up injection molds

To meet evolving market demands, we have mastered the transition from low-volume production to high-cavitation molds. In 2022, we engineered a new set of high-cavitation molds to support the significant production scale-up of SHL Medical’s Molly® autoinjector marketed for cardiometabolic disease. Delivering consistent quality and reliability, the molds enabled a seamless ramp-up without compromising performance.

Flexible autoinjector testing

When fully automatic testing meets modular design, the result is a highly flexible platform that evolves with market needs. Introduced in 2021, our first modular fully automatic testing machine (FATM) was commercialized for functional and attribute testing of a 3-step cartridge-based autoinjector. The machine was later upgraded to test additional syringe-based autoinjectors, increasing coverage and utilization.

Adaptable final assembly

Modern manufacturing increasingly requires robust systems that can adapt and scale with customer demands. Deployed for a lyophilized drug using a dual-chamber cartridge autoinjector, our first semi-automatic AOU final assembly machine offers fully configurable loading stations, simultaneous syringe and cartridge handling, and a flexible architecture that can be seamlessly upgraded to full automation as production needs grow.
